We want to ensure your suit is the best-fitting you’ve ever owned.
To achieve this, we require more than 20 measurements.
Following our simple measuring guidance, this takes a friend of family member only 10-15 minutes to complete.
1. Get a friend to measure you:
Measuring yourself for a flawless fitting, tailored suit or shirt at SuitMeUp is simple and quick.
We have detailed illustrations and instructions in the Style Studio for every step of the measuring process. All you need is a tape measure!
Don’t have a tape measure? We will mail you one – just get in touch and let us know.
Don’t try and measure yourself – to ensure accuracy we strongly recommend asking a friend to help you out. It will only take around 10-15 minutes to provide all the measurements required to achieve a flawless fit.
Step 4 of our Style Studio is the where you will find all instructions and how to input your measurements into our system.
For your convenience we have also provided measurement forms (Mens and Ladies) with the same illustrations and instructions that you can print and fill out while you are measuring. It is straightforward to then transcribe the measurements into our suit builder when you are back in front of the computer.
Should you happen to make a small mistake in your measuring, don’t worry, we have a free alterations policy.
2. Visit an mPort Scanning Booth:
We have partnered up with mPort so you can now get your measurements taken by a three- dimensional scanner!
It’s great fun, but best of all, it’s free.

What do we do with your body measurements?
All measurements you provide are body measurements to which we make allowances for according to your preferred style. Please note these allowances may vary depending on person to person. Every suit and shirt is altered and designed on an individual basis, thus providing you with a truly tailored garment. Below are some allowances we may add to your body measurements depending on your style options when ordering.
If you have any questions or concerns with the measuring process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
